GM and "Blindfold King" Timur Gareyev has an article on the match. Navara is a perfect 3/3 against Rapport going into this match. ):

Good writeup on chessbase. Richard should have won that Alekhines Defence in the endgame. Great creative concept in the opening.

Richard has gone back to his Alekhine Defence in the critical R4 game (all previous games having been drawn) today. (:

Wow Jack, you're quick on the post. I had just checked the game and Richard was up about 2 (comp eval) but I figured it could be a long one. Congratulations to Richard Rapport for winning and especially revisiting the Alekhines Defence - the positions seem to fit his style perfectly and of course entering the top twenty "elite". At one point (was it last year? or more recent he had sunk well back under 2700 so well done!

Richard's rating plummeted from an April, 2015 mark of 2710 to a September, 2015 low of 2649, Hans, a loss of 61 points that was totally regained by December, 2015.

One of the schools I teach at has a chess playing, Hungarian principal who knows Richard quite well and maintains that Richard's brief lack of form can be attributed to the death of an uncle Richard was very close to.

Richard is pretty much tracking the next youngest top 20, Anish Giri. Two months after the latter's 20th birthday, Giri had a 2745 rating. Not bad footsteps to follow! (:

Peter Doggers reports on the match for chess.com. Apparently these were Rapport's first two Alekhines, prepared but never before played in a serious game. Given the results, I strongly suspect we'll see more. (:

GM Timur Gareyev, the "Blindfold King", reports on the final two games of the match. He also provides a fascinating game from his blindfold simul.
