The point of our meet up is to popularize chess. Chess is known to be a very sophisticated game but we want to show the social and fun aspect of it! Come out, drink/eat, meet new people over the chess board!

Tournament:
Tournament starts at 7:45 PM. There will be no money prizes, the tournament is included in the $10 club fee.
Pub Chess Toronto offers tournaments for fun. We will have a tournament no matter how many people decide to register. The maximum rounds will be 5. There will be the option of two time controls, blitz or rapid. Blitz - 3 minutes + 3 seconds, 5 double-round
Rapid - 8 minutes + 5 seconds, 5 rounds
Since this is a special event, depending on how many people are interested in the tournament we may have two sections.
