  • CanBase II updates!

Canbase II has been updated with 1,302 "new" Canadian games since the last update two months ago. Additions include:

Many games from CFC magazines from 1985 to 1987.
    Calgary International and Edmonton Closed,
    Scarborough CC games,
    Quebec Closed qualifier,
    Montcalm (Quebec City) games,
    Paul Keres Memorial,
    etc.

Thanks to Luc Gauthier, Yves Casaubon, Bob Armstrong, Chess Manitoba, Club d'échecs Montcalm. Edmonton CC, and others who have sent or posted games, or have helped me enter games.

The "Players" database will be updated shortly.

(there will be a new host for these databases within the next couple of weeks, but the above link will continue to work).

    Keep those games coming!

You are a great man, Hugh Brodie!! Without your persistence, Canadian chess would be largely unrecorded.
Many thanks for all your work.
