  • looking for chess tournament around August 13th

Hello, due to travel situations, I am looking for a chess tournament around August 13th, somewhere between Windsor and Kingston, maybe further if the drive is not too long. So far, I have found the Cleveland Open (12th/13th-14th) in Ohio, but I'm wondering if I'm missing a more obvious choice somewhere in the heart of Ontario?! ;)

Thanks and regards, Aris (under 1900)

It's a 9 hours drive from Ottawa (similar to Ottawa-Cleveland) and it's between Windsor and Kingston :)

Aug. 11-14, 12-14, or 13-14: Continental Open in Sturbridge MA (roughly halfway between Albany and Boston). http://www.uschess.org/tlas/upcoming.php?STATE=MA

You wouldn't be far from Kingston (NY) and (New) WIndsor (NY). :-)

8 to 9 hours drive from Toronto.
