According to the TD, almost 50 players registered with about 10 Canadians registered so far.

One more day to go and looks like they should reach their target of 64 players and the prize distribution will be according to the flyer ( post # 1 above ).

60 players registered ( latest info received ). No list though. Prize money should be as expected on the flyer....

Good to see that Canadians form about 20% of the participants.

          Good luck to all.

          It's tomorrow Nov 19, 2016

            Final results :

            7 Canadians participated

            1. Open section - 13 year old Eugene Hua from Waterdown won the section with 5.5 points out of 6. Wins a good amount of cash and a nice crafted plaque ( with a buffalo ). Probably achieve US National master title ( USCF 2200 ) after this event.
            2. U-1500 - 9 year old Henry ( Xianrui ) Zhang from Toronto won the section with 5 points out of 6 and a plaque. 2nd place was 10 year old Harry Liu from Toronto with 4.5 points.
            3. Scholastic section - 9 year old Jodie Liao from Mississauga won the best girl's award for the K-4 section and a big nice trophy.

What a memorable weekend for these kids from Canada dominating throughout the tournament.

The TD at the Buffalo area are organizing monthly tournaments and the next tournament ( 1 day event ) will be on Dec 17, 2016 ( Saturday ). Please email the TD if you are interested to cross border to play in the one day event.
