1. Player of the Year – Wesley So - with 43% of the vote, ahead of Magnus Carlsen 23% and Sergey Karjakin 13%
2. Female Player of the Year – Hou Yifan – with 33% of the vote, second and third were Ju Wenjun and Anna Muzychuk, with 17% and 16% respectively
.
