Pictures were uploaded to Google Photos (no account needed) - https://goo.gl/photos/Fj5TrsfGvj8abgYQ8

The PGN game files for Open and U2000 section were uploaded to the website http://www.aucc.club/aurora-weekend-...ra-spring-open . Some games are not 100% complete - too hard to read some handwriting.
Several games can be played using the installed viewer.

Tournament is over. Results at http://chess-results.com/fed.aspx?lan=1&fed=CAN

Over the week I'll process photos and scoresheets of Open and U2000 sections.

Those who are interested in rating changes will need to wait till Wednesday or Thursday. (FIDE will take even longer)

Next Aurora Open in July 29-30.

There's still no open section. Call it Premier Section.

"Women's Open" means restricted to women - but any woman is eligible to try to enter - just like "Junior Open" is open to any junior (and only juniors). "Open" (without any other modifier) means anyone of either sex and any age is eligible. You could call a masters and up Open chess event "xxxx 2200+ Open" which would show the restriction, but that it is open to any master (but not allowing under 2200's).

United States "Women's Open" Golf Championship, Canada, and how many other countries? And how many other sports?

The US golf and Tennis "Opens" are truly open - any one can try to qualify. The Open chess events that Denis is referring to have restrictions. Are there any other sports that have restrictive events referred to as "Opens"?
