True however I don't know if the organizers have sent it in to be rated & Garvin may post an answer here. Once I know that it has been sent it then I'll check with the CFC.

Joe mailed in the crosstable to CFC about a week ago. So it probably should get in this week.

uggrrr...that's doesn't sound good......we should be submitting with SwissSys to save the extra $2 rating fee......hmmmmm.....more emails to my colleagues.

of course, I used to enter it myself the next day.............

I wonder what % of tournaments have been submitted using SwissSys since May 1 ? Just wondering.

Perhaps it is the lesser of the two evils... it may be simpler to use in some ways but I don't think it can handle some events very well.

HI Bob;

When you submit via Swiss Sys do you have to make payment at same time or do you just mail a cheque. I never tried it because I don't like using a credit card on the internet unless I have to.

Hi John,

I don't know what is the current CFC policy, you would need to ask Gerry. When I was ED, we entered the tournament first, and "the cheque is in the mail" was okay. That worked fine for 99% of the time. Of course, the same courtesy was never entended again for the 1%.
