Type: Active (Quick) Swiss system, each player plays five games.
Time Control: Game in 25 minutes plus 10 seconds delay per move (Bronstein)
Entry Fee: $30 all players, $5 discount for juniors (under 17 years) and seniors (65 years or older)
Cash only at site (ATM available).
CFC Membership Required: Full one year membership $48 for adults, $32 for juniors or $20 for one-time tournament membership. See www.chess.ca for details.
Sections: Open (open to all) and Reserve (restricted to players without a CFC rating or quick ratings under 1700) or, depending on number of entries, one combined section with section prizes.
Prizes: Based on Entries: Trophies and Cash.
Registration: Preregister by phone or email and pay on site by 9:00 a.m. April 29. Registrations after 9:00 a.m. may not receive Swiss pairings for the first round.
