I would like to invite all chess players from across the country to participate in the Open Chess Championship in Varennes.
Actually several GM have confirmed their participation.

It is possible to go to Varennes by bus (700) from Longueil metro station.
Return is also possible, with a flexible schedule.
The closest stop is at the corner 132 / la Gabelle, in front of the IGA, 5 min from the venue.

Hot / cold buffet on site. Indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, small gym. Free high-speed internet. Near Highway 20 (exit 92), on the Montreal South Shore, close to the Lafontaine tunnel. Take Highway 20 towards Montreal, then take the 132 East towards Varennes (exit 90)
