    I received this e-mail this morning :

    A private Canadian sponsor will pay the full flight tickets ,while the Chinese chess association provides free accomodation to Canadian chess players to play a tournament between Sept. 27th to Sept. 30th in China.
    The FIDE rating should be higher than 1620 for FQE rating higher than 1720. If you know any player under 12 years old is interested, could you please ask them contact me by August 18th, which is the deadline.

    The 1st Belt and Road International School Team Rapid Chess Championship
    1. Date and Place
    2017.9.27-9.30
    Chongqing, China:重庆市南岸区江南小学校Jiangnan Primary School Nan’an District Chongqing.
    2. Participant
    2.1 There will be 12 teams from 12 countries including China, Canada, Singapore, Qatar, India, Russia, France, Hungary, Poland, Australia, United States of America, Iran
    2.2 Each country can send one team to play. Each team shall comprise of 4 players and 1 captain(coach). All players shall not reached the age of 12 by 1st January 2017(born 2005 or later).
    3. Schedule
    27th Sep 9:00-18:00 arrival
    19:00 technical meeting, draw-ing of lots
    28th Sep 8:30 opening ceremony
    10:30 simultaneous games with Chinese GMs
    14:00 Cultural Exchange
    29th Sep 8:30 Round 1
    9:30 Round 2
    10:30 Round 3
    14:00 Round 4
    15:00 Round 5
    16:00 Round 6
    17:00 Round 7
    18:30 Awarding Ceremony
    30th Sep Departure
    4. Competition rule
    The tournament shall adopt the latest FIDE rule of 7 rounds Swiss system. Each side will have 15 minutes plus 5 seconds for each move.
    The scoring will be in accordance with Chess Olympiad Rule. Winning gets 2 points. Draw gets 1 point. Losing gets 0 point.
    5. Tie-break and Awarding
    5.1 The scoring will be in accordance with Chess Olympiad Rule. Winning gets 2 points. Draw gets 1 point. Losing gets 0 point.
    5.2 Tie break: game points; direct encounter; Sonnenborn-Berger; Buchholz.
    5.3 Trophy, medal and certificate for the top 6 teams.
    5.4 Medal and certificate for the top 3 of each board.
    5.5 Each player will be awarded participation medal and certificate.

    6. Finance
    The local organizer will cover the full accommodation of one team of 5 members(4 players and 1 captain) from 27th to 30th September 2017.
    The local organizer will provide 20,000CNY as reimbursement of air ticket for each team.
