I made 2 bets during this tournaments, both related to A.Kovalyov.

      1. Bet 20 EURO (for some reason, my account on marathonbet.com is in this currency) on Anton in first round. He was slightly low-rated and odds were 1 to 2.1, which reflected about 45% chances for Kovalyov to advance to the 2nd round.

I estimated his chances like 60-65%, taking into acoount his well-known ability to perform better on really important tournaments (World Cup, Olympiad, Pan-American championship).

So, it was a very good bet (in my opinion) and I earned 22 EURO.

      2. After 1st round, I made a bet of 1 EURO on Anton to win this tournament. The odds were 1 to 701. I would have bet more (like 10 EURO), but this site has a very low limit on winnings for chess events. You can not win more than a certain amount (around 1000 EURO) on specific bet, so with odds of 701 I was limited to bet only 1 EURO.

Odds dropped to 201 after Anton passed Anand in 2nd round.

After an incident between Anton and ZA, I lost a big part of my initial interest to this event.

Anyone thinks Levon Aronian or Wesley So can win semifinal game two with playing with black pieces can consider betting some money, payout is good:

Odds on Aronian wins game two is 1 to 8.1 (bet $10 to win $71).

Odds on So wins game two is 1 to 7.7 (bet $10 to win $67)
