It expires in a few minutes, who is up registering at 11:50 pm anyhow? I've been entering more names throughout this evening. That prereg list is due for additions. I think we are near 90 in prereg right now. Ten minutes to go people.

The 2 latest players will remain a mystery until we get #100.

Is 100 players the maximum capacity of the venue? I hope you can accommodate more than that and beat Aurora's latest chess tournament attendance record of 150 players. I guess Mississauga is far more conveniently located than Aurora in term of its geography and thereby should attract more chess players. Five more days to break the record and its possible. You are offering higher prizes for more participants with guaranteed $2000 prize fund. I simply could not understand what chess players are looking for? I bet this chess tournament is fairly funded! This chess tournament is closely similar to Guelph Pro-AM and Aurora Chess Tournament but better prizes!?

Just for the record: two latest Aurora Opens had 5000 and 5500 in prizes. Yes, we are very conservative in the flyer with 2000 ;)

Better to pleasantly surprise the players than to disappoint them.

Just updated the preregistered list for all those who registered by midnight last night to avoid the late fee.
We are at 121 players. Close to our all time high of 123.
It is going to be close quarters. Hoping to get a bigger venue for next year.
I think 200 players next year is possible!!

A few ratings maybe out of date, will fix it for saturday.
