  • "Club Talk" - June 1993

I just found an issue of "Club Talk" from June 1993 (Vol. 1, No.2) - edited by John Pope, and a headline reading "Jung Sets Blindfold Record". It's only 4 pages - one sheet of 11x17 paper folded. This issue seems to have appeared just before the Canadian Open was held in London.

Maybe Hans knows how many issues were printed, and how long it survived.

It had I believe 4 issues and lasted one year. John Pope was a librarian and collated several club tournaments into spiral bound collections of several pages each over a period of 7 years (about 30 ). Whats left of them are displayed in a large box in the chess section of the Central Library in London, Ontario. The "Club Talk" came about because of his efforts.
