2018 Kitchener-Waterloo April Quick

Place: Kitchener City Hall, 200 King St., Kitchener, ON
Rounds: Five (5)
Type: Active (Quick) Swiss system, each player plays five games.
Time Control: Game in 25 minutes plus 10 seconds delay per move (Bronstein)
Entry Fee: $30 all players, $5 discount for juniors (under 17 years) and seniors (65 years or older). Cash only at site (ATM available).
CFC Membership Required: Full one-year membership adults $48, juniors $32 and one-time tournament membership adult $12, juniors $6. See www.chess.ca for details.
Sections: 1700+ and Under 1700 (players with a CFC rating under 1700 or new members.) or depending on entries, one combined section with section prizes.
Prizes: Based on Entries
Registration: Preregister by email to edthompson@netflash.net by midnight April 18 (to avoid late fee) or register on site by 9:00 on April 21 (you will have to pay a $10 late fee). All payments to be made on site before start of first round.
