Yes the Chess'n Math Association continues to grow!

Established in September 1985...we will shortly be 33 years old. We have about 150 people teaching chess for us today...and if we had more teachers, we would have even more schools!

We are operating in 3 markets:

Greater Montreal (includes the South-Shore, North-Shore and the West Island)

    Ottawa-Gatineau (Ottawa - Kanata - Barrhaven - Orleans - Hull etc)

Greater Toronto Area (we have 16 satellite locations from Burlington to Whitby)

We are presently looking for chess teachers for the 2018-2019 school year in all these areas

These classes take place during lunch time and/or after school. You can teach a few hours a week depending on your schedule and your ability to travel. Great opportunity for students and retired folks! Access to a vehicle is an asset. You will be asked to not only teach, but to give your students structure and care for their well-being.

Requirements : a good knowledge of chess, punctual, Reliable, experience with children an asset. If you like kids and are able to communicate your love for the game...this is your calling!

Remuneration starts at $35 an hour but if you have important qualifications, the rate will increase accordingly. Some of our teachers, with lessons that we give them and their own private lessons, earn as much as $60,000 a year!

    Make chess your career!

We are starting our recruitement now because you will require a criminal record check and that takes time.
