  • Annual Meeting - Chess'n Math Association, Canada's National Scholastic Chess Org.

As in past years, the annual meeting is held on the Tuesday following the Labour Day weekend.

We have enjoyed another successful year, thanks to the great folks on our team! Founded in 1985 as a not-for-profit organisation, today we own our own 4 storey (6,700 sq ft ) building in downtown Montreal. We have coordinators in every province of Canada and our showcase event is the Canadian Chess Challenge...an event where every province participants with the same number of representatives!Yes...we are celebrating our 33rd anniversary serving the Canadian chess community!

We teach over 15,000 every week during the school year!

We are proud of what we have accomplished!

If you are a parent of a youngster who has taken part in one of our activities between July 1 2017 and June 30 2018, then you can attend the meeting on Tuesday Sept 4, 2018 at the Chess'n Math Association, 3423 St Denis, 4th floor, Montreal. One vote per family. We will review our previous year of activities, review the financial statements, talk about future projects and elect a new Executive.

2019 - Vancouver, B.C. (Thanks to Maxim of Vancouver Chess)

For the first time ever in the 31 year history of the event. We have been to every province in Canada (For B.C....in Victoria before...thank you Brian Raymer!)

Lots of interest for future years but no firm bids yet.
