  • Rating Fees for Chess'n Math events as of September 1, 2018

    Organizers please take note:

As of Sept 1, 2018, in order to rate your event with the Chess'n Math Association (CMA), Canada's National Scholastic Chess Organization, the cost is 75 cents per player if you enter the data yourself or $1.50 per player if we have to do the work. That was the bad news :). For more information on how to rate your events with us, contact Christian Lacasse at lacasse at chess-math dot org

Now the good news...the CMA has developed a $10,000 bursary program for Canadian youngsters. Take a look: https://chess-math.org/2018-2019-cma...llence-program

We are starting to receive nominations for our $10,000 bursary program. It is easy to do! If you know a youngster who takes part in Chess'n Math events and is enthusiastic, a good individual who has the right values and makes a contribution to Canadian society in his or her own way, then he or she is the ideal candidate! You can be a parent, coach, organizer, school teacher or a friend to nominate someone.Over 48 prizes to be earned...and every province in Canada is involved!

The program can be viewed here:

You can nominate a youngster here:

We will be doing a monthly feature on the nominees starting in March 2019.
