              Hi Hans,

Due to an error on my behalf(I forgot to plug in the laptop that we used to make pairings, and it ran out of battery), we will be unable to publish the official standings for some time; I have to input the results of round 4 and 5 manually. However, I can share the 3 winners of each section. The winners received medals.

              Rated:

              1st: Fengxi Mao 4.5/5
              2nd: Jeffrey R Zhao 4/5 (required playoffs)
3rd: Daniel Odoemelam 4/5 (required playoffs)

              Unrated:

              1st: Joseph Orozco 4.5/5
              2nd: Thomas Chen 4/5
              3rd: Josiah Orozco 3.5/5

Overall, we had almost 40 players in our tournament, even if some were not able to play every round. Yuanling Yuan, the founder of Chess in the Library, gave a great talk about her life and how chess has affected her. In addition, people were able to ask her questions about anything such as who she was cheering for in the World Championship Match(she said Fabi). After that, she performed a simul which we had to unfortunately conclude early because the library closed at 5:00. All in all, it was a successful tournament and Chess in the Library can't wait to host more tournaments in the future!
