I see there is a Canadian Closed scheduled for April. Does anyone have any details about format, ratings limit etc. ?

I'd like to know the rating floor and (more importantly) if the NOCL still gets to send a wildcard.

Rating floor is 2200. I believe some of the details were released during the last CFC voting members meeting.

It looks like they're intending to hold a firm rating floor of 2200. In the past the NOCL and east coast both got wildcards...

I'd really like to have the option of sending someone from the north. I'm the only player over 2200 up here and I can't go.

@Aris (if you read this), any possibility of an exception for an outstanding northern Ontario player based on past precedent?

Past precedents could be very funny. In 2017, organizers in Montreal allowed 1600 CFC player to participate.
