  • Chess Night & Book exchange

Here's a new way to upgrade your chess library (and other books too). The 'Books and Beer' Meetup in the Annex has been going strongly every Thursday for over five years. But now we have a new feature - a select genre meet, hopefully once a month. The first special interest group will gather this Thursday - for people who enjoy reading historical fiction. If the turnout for this Thursday is better than the usual 10 to 15 attendees, we will schedule a special interest for chess players sometime in February. There you will be invited to bring a book (chess) for trade or gift. Also there will be chess sets set up for casual games - if you prefer a timed game then please bring a chess clock.
But in order for the chess event to actually be scheduled we need your support this Thursday. So please visit the site and sign up as a new member then plan to attend this Thursday from 7 PM at the Paupers Pub on Bloor at Lippincott.
Please check us out at >>>>>>>>>

See you Thursday and thanks for your support,
