  • I'm trying to remember a player name...

He was a US player, southern California, I think, who died a couple of years ago, suddenly, in his early 50's. He had been in the military most of his life, but was retired, I think. He was known for his amazing tactical play, especially tossing his h-pawn into the action. I think he was rated about 2000, maybe a little more.

    Any suggestions?
