Thank you Hugh! I do not think you get enough credit for updating your database. I know how hard it is to get games, plus you have to input them!

Absolutely! Thanks are also in order to Omar Shah, who was scanning games to Hugh during the tournament, and Danny Goldenberg who delivered all the scoresheets to Hugh. Super team effort!

As an Arbiter, may favorite stat was: "average 44 moves per game"

That's an Arbiter's anecdotal observation, that when you have a first time control of 40 moves, that players will accept reality more AFTER they've RUSHED to make that first time control. Cool stat!

Besides Hugh and his team, I would like to applaud some other key people who made this extraordinary games capture a reality. First, John Upper for inspiring really cool carbon scoresheets for ALL sections. John designed them, printed them, and delivered them. And then John FULLY took care of his work broadcasting the top boards and photographing hundreds of times. This liberated me to work more with Danny Goldenberg. And Danny was incredibly dependable for ALL Arbiter duties, which in turn facilitated Omar Shah. Omar was the "junior" Arbiter who took it upon himself, often late at night, to scan dozens and dozens of scoresheets to Hugh, whose team could start entering them well before Danny physically delivered all of the hard copies to Hugh after the event.

All in all, an awesome collection of effort from people who give so much to chess. I tip my hat to you men. Well done!!
