CFC Membership hits 2,500!

    In 1965, Phil Haley, my good friend from my hometown, now deceased, advised me to get a CFC Life Membership when I was a pauper......he said I had to scrape together $ 50!!! That was no easy task for me then.........but I followed his advice......# 100034! And what he told me is definitely true:

    "you will never make a better business deal!!! "

      There's a lot of names missing. Two that come to mind are Peter Murray (one of the lowest numbers) who is still rated master (played two years ago) and originally advised me to become a life member, and Dave Jackson who was once 2300 and is now about 1700 but still very active.

        Yes, Murray and Jackson are just below Armstrong, and are Ontario's longest lasting Life Members..
