  • Montreal International 1/2 way point

With 5 of 11 rounds completed, there is a tie for the lead with 4 points:
Bacrot and Naidistch. Half a point behind is Anton Kovalyov at 3 1/2. Mark Bluvshtein has 3 points.
You can follow the games (board provided) at >>>> http://echecsmontreal.ca/parties2009.htm
In today's games, Bacrot has white against Bluvshtein. The games should appear posted on the above site after midnight. I have not been able to receive the games live.:(

Hi Vlad - your link works for me for the live games - I just click on the Parties en Mode Flash link. Watching the games now.

I think you need Adobe Flash player installed.

    Cheers

Actually I prefer after round 6 as the half way point. The tournament is very interesting with at least 5 candidates to win. Lots of interesting games and fighting chess. Would anybody care to setup a poll to pick a winner?
