When: Saturday, January 18th – Sunday, January 19th, 2020

Eligibility
This is a U20 event, i.e. players under the age of 20 or those players born in 2000 or later years. Format
Type: 5 Round Swiss. CFC rated & FIDE rated for Open, U-2100 and U-1800. CFC membership is required.
Type: 5 Round Swiss. CFC rated for U-1300 and U-1000. CFC membership is required.
Sections: OPEN, U-2100, U-1800, U-1300 and U-1000
Rd 1: Jan 18 – 9:30am; Rd 2: Jan 18 – 2:00pm; Rd 3: Jan 18 – 6:30pm; Rd 4: Jan 19 – 10:00am; Rd 5: Jan 19 – 3:00pm
Play Offs: If needed, will start ASAP after obtaining clear results Time Controls
1.5 hrs + 30 secs increment – All Sections Byes
1/2 points for rounds 1 to 4. Zero point for Round 5 Bye (All sections).
The byes MUST be requested in advance, at the latest prior to the end of the previous round.
Only 2 byes allowed Tournament Organizer

Refund Policy: No cash refunds on withdrawal. Credit for equal amount will be given if you notify us of withdrawal on or before December 15, 2019. Credits can be used to register for tournaments and other programs offered by Elevate My Chess. Registration fee will be forfeited if you don’t notify us of withdrawals on or before December 15, 2019. However, consideration for credit will be considered in special circumstances on a case by case basis.
