Final result in the first leg at Waterdown Chess club on November 2019.

On average, WCC players are 250 points lower than MCC.

Having said that, WCC managed to pull off 3 wins outright, drew 7 matches and also lost 11 matches. Play-off games were to determine the gold or silver medals. A good match indeed and hopefully WCC can put up a better fight in the return leg at MCC. These games will be active rated this evening.

Photos to come later in the FB page. Cheers

On Wednesday Dec 11, we had a total of 16 guests came from WCC to participate in the second round team competition.

MCC won the second round with a score of 7.5(WCC) - 24.5(MCC). However it was not an easy win, WCC sent very strong players, like FM Eugene Hua, who won his games on the top board again. The other top 5 boards ended in draws. MCC won most games for the middle/lower rating section.

The score in the first round was 12.5-29.5, and brings the total score up to 20(WCC) - 54(MCC)

This event was full of fun, and it was able to build friendships between junior players in the two clubs.
Photos will soon be posted on the Mississauga Chess Club website. Cheers!
