Can you believe it?? A bunch of supposedly highly educated, supposedly highly intelligent people who support the CO2 delusion? Disgusting!!

You have a soapbox, Vlad. You're president of a national organization. Write an op-ed or arrange a press conference. Put an end to the CO2 imbeciles!!
Here is a paper from the venerated NASA Institution proclaiming in 1971 that we are in danger of an ICE AGE no less. https://science.sciencemag.org/content/173/3992/138

The source or academic credentials means very little in science. The substance of the arguments themselves is what matters. Advancements in science are rarely driven by consensus but instead by new and original thoughts. The talk that Vlad cited is from a respected astrophysicist and aerospace engineer Willie Soon: alma mater is the University of Southern Californa, works for the Harvard-Smithsonian Center of Astrophysics, and is a recipient of the Peter Beckman award in Science in 2004....hardly a "moron".
His ideas to be sure are criticized by other members of the scientific community however, that is how science advances. I doubt that he views his colleagues at MIT or NASA as "imbeciles" even though they have divergent views.

Apparently you have difficulty recognizing sarcasm, Sid.
