  • Hart House Reading Week and Quebec Carnival tournaments - here are the crosstables...

Since the organizers haven't posted any links to the crosstables of their ongoing events this weekend - here they are.

Toronto - Hart House Reading Week Open: (157 players) - top section crosstable: http://chess-results.com/tnr517088.aspx?lan=1&art=4
Quebec City - Quebec Carnival Open (73 players - at least 4 Americans are playing) - http://www.jrboutin.inter-systeme.com/Standings.html

Lots of draws which I assume means fighting chess and lots of upsets. The lone GM in the field is not close to first.

Its Victor and Roman in the last round with four good (great!?) masters a half point back. Will it be a multi tie finish?

Four way tie for first. Congratulations to Anthony Atanasov - still super young and getting better fast!
