There is some novelty in Quebec. Chess Ovation is a commercial entreprise whose main fields of activity are chess teaching in the schools and organising chess tournaments. We are going to organize no less than 6, more likely 7 slow open chess tournaments in the next 12 months. They are:

The «Sherbrooke OPEN», May 29-30-31 in Sherbrooke, Quebec; 3500$ based on 70 paid entries or more;
The «Quebec OPEN», July 25 -31 in Longueuil, Quebec; 10000$ based on 190 paid entries or more, 5000$ garanty;
The «Granby 2020», November 27-28-29 in Granby, Quebec; 3000$ garanty
The «Tournoi du Père Noël (Santa Claus Tournament)», December 26-30 in Montreal; more information to come up soon;
The «Blanc & Noir de St-Jean (StJean's White & Black)», January 22-23-24 of 2021; 2800$ garanty;
