  • Play Suspended - Scarborough Chess Club

Based on recommendations from Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Eileen de Villa, to help slow the rate of COVID-19 infection in Toronto and protect vulnerable populations including seniors, people with compromised immune systems, and individuals experiencing homelessness, the City of Toronto has closed all community centres including the Birkdale Community Centre where the Scarborough Chess Club plays its games. At the present time, these closed facilities are scheduled to reopen on Sunday, April 5, 2020. However, with rapidly changing circumstances, city community centres could be closed longer than April 5. As we learn any new information, we will post it on the Scarborough Chess Club website: http://www.scarboroughchessclub.ca/
