  • Diemer-Duhn Gambit

I was looking at some chess sites and came across the Diemer-Duhn Gambit. The Opening moves are: 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.c4 or (1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.e4). I don't recall ever playing it but possibly someone here might find it interesting.

I have no idea if it's sound but sometimes being fun and OK for speed chess is enough.

This one definitely came up in the Brantford Chess Club gambit tournament a few years ago.

I don't remember how any of the games went though. I might look around and see if I can find the results.

Do you recall if white was winning many of the games?

Yep this gambit has been used the last few years at the Brantford Gambit Tournament.
tough to say since we play 2 games, I believe it was picked early rds. so the mismatch caused many 2-0
White looks good to me thou
