Wow, like going to a chess camp.

The time control is not given for the different Blitz events, 5 min or 3 min?

I prefer layout of hours of event flush left, easier to read.

Early hour difficult for west coast..This concept could be a national event, getting masters across the country to participate.

I prefer colour text to show which events are for stronger players, There are no separate rating divisions for the blitz?

Any service of having a master analysizing selected game from the events?

Have a puzzle rush competition? (Everyone has to solve the same collection of puzzles).

Seemed to be biography lectures. Any on openings, middlegame. or endgames? Any place to practice rook endgames with other players?

What computer programs does a player need to participate? Zoom? An account on chess.com?

    Good luck!

Mario, check your email as I provided you image showing evidence of your refund. We've processed all refunds. However, I know there may be a few that are still outstanding, particularly those that paid via email money or other means. I'm still slowly going through all my emails to make sure I respond to everyone. It's been challenging as we've incurred losses as a result of these cancellations and Elevate My Chess is a one-man operation so my time is somewhat limited as I have a full-time demanding business to run. However, this is no excuse...I'm still committed to hosting great chess events and as we recover from this pandemic, we will build a team so we can improve our customer service.

For everyone with questions on refund, please take the following steps before contacting us:

          1) If you paid by credit card or Paypal, all refunds have been processed, check your credit card of paypal account. If you don't see your response go to step 2.

          2) Check with your bank and let them know you're expecting a refund to your credit card that has not shown up. If the bank is unable to resolve, go to step 3.

          3) Email info@elevatemychess.com to let us know you've completed steps 1 & 2. If you have your Orde ID provide it and we will escalate to our payment processor to initiate an investigation.

          4) Be patient. I know this can be hard, but do understand we're all in this together. Eventually, all will be resolved to your satisfaction.

Below is a communication from CFC. The two rated 25-min event during this festival will count towards this. So, if you've not registered for those events, please do so using the link below:

CFC rated internet games and COVID-19 Rating Incentive

The CFC is accepting internet events for Quick (Active) rating. Internet events with slower time controls normally rated Regular may also be submitted for Quick (Active) rating.

In order to provide an incentive for CFC members to participate in CFC rated Internet events during the COVID-19 crisis, the CFC has introduced a temporary measure to allow players to adjust their Regular ratings upwards if they meet specified criteria during the period 1 April 2020 to 1 April 2021.

Players who play a minimum of 10 CFC rated games between 1 April 2020 and 1 April 2021 and who attain a Quick/Active rating that is 200 points higher than their Regular rating will have their Regular rating increased by 200 points.

The minimum time control for qualifying events is 25 minutes per player including increments. The total time is calculated based on a 60-move game, for example 15 minutes per player plus a 10 second increment.

The COVID-19 rating incentive can only be earned once per player where rating exceeds 1000. Players with ratings under 1000 are eligible for a second 200 bonus to a maximum rating of 1200. Only paid-up CFC members are eligible for this incentive.

The new Regular rating cannot exceed 2000. It will not be necessary for players to apply for the COVID-19 rating incentive. It will be done as part of the regular rating process at the end of the incentive period. You may apply to have it adjusted earlier by email.
