The Wobbling Chess Set

There is a child’s toy – a boxer with gloves up painted on a weighted balloon, about three feet high. The child punches the boxer, the balloon goes over backward, touches the floor but because of the weight in its oval base, springs back up again so the child can punch it again. One version on the market is called the 3-d bop bag inflatable punching boxing bag boxer.
Now, suppose that you had a chess set with the pieces having oval heavily weighted bottoms. In theory, they could not fall over. So, you would think this the idea set for playing blitz. The board would have to have concavities on each square.
I am not sure who would buy one. The rocking motion of the pieces is distracting and looks rather silly, to be honest. See the youtube video below.
