Graves are wonderful places, peaceful and without suffering. I made a point long ago of visiting both Duane Allman in Macon, Georgia, and Jimi Hendrix just outside of Seattle, Washington. I also went to John Fitzgerald Kennedy, and his brother Bobby, in Arlington, Virginia. And one day I happened to stumble upon Lester Pearson in Gatineau Park.

I visited Bobby Fischer's final resting place in Iceland. At the time, I felt moved, but over time since then, I'm amazed at all the details I remember from that very unique single day in life.
