Maybe that's why so many were interested in Hostage Chess at the Canadian Open recently. Ah, but the machines will soon catch up and overtake the humans there too! Hostage Chess is a great variant, I personally love it, but I recognize that the complexities and much larger search tree produce a greater increase in human mistakes than they will do in computer engine mistakes.
