Format
Type: 5 Round Swiss. CFC rated & FIDE rated for Championship, U-2100, U-1800, and U-1500. CFC membership is required.
Type: 5 Round Swiss. CFC rated for U-1200 and U-900 Junior (Under 18 years). CFC membership is required.
Sections: CHAMPIONSHIP, U-2100, U-1800, U-1500, U-1200 and U900 Junior (Under 18 years)

Registration ends 5:00 pm on Friday, Feb 10th | Rounds on Friday 6 PM; Saturday 10 AM, 3 PM, Sunday 10 AM & 3 PM

1.5 hrs + 30 secs increment - All Sections

The byes MUST be requested in advance, at the latest prior to the end of the previous round.

TOURNAMENT PRIZES - Minimum Prize Pool of $5,500 based on a minimum of 150 registered players (Prizes may be reduced proportionately based on the number of registered players):
Championship: 1st - $1,000; 2nd - $600; 3rd - $400
U2100: 1st - $600; 2nd - $400; 3rd - $300
U1800: 1st - $400; 2nd - $300; 3rd - $200
U1500: 1st - $300; 2nd - $200; 3rd - $150
U1200: 1st - $200; 2nd - $150; 3rd - $100
U900 (Junior): 1st - $100 + Trophies; 2nd - $60 + Trophies; 3rd - $40 + Trophies
Unrated may not win over $100 in U-1200; $400 in U-1500, U-1800 & U-2100.
Players with provisional ratings will be considered unrated for this tournament.
Rating: The latest highest of CFC / USCF / FQE / (FIDE + 100 pts) to be used.

Refund Policy
No cash refunds on withdrawal. Credit for an equal amount will be given if you notify us of withdrawal on or before January 31, 2023. Credits can be used to register for tournaments and other programs offered by Elevate My Chess. The registration fee will be forfeited if you don't notify us of withdrawals before January 31, 2023. However, consideration for credit will be considered in special circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
