Almost three years ago we canceled the 2020 Spring Open and went dormant. Now we're coming back to the same place after three years of absent.

Sorry guys, it is only five rounds thus not good for any kind of IM norms.

We kinda short for rapid tournaments. If you plan to come please register till tomorrow night as due to lack of players we might cancel the event.

Five days. Total number of players over all events - 150 :)

The main hall fire limit seems is 140 indeed (though we'll double check that again). The main tournament has hopefully 13 spots left. Though many for rapids.

                Posting here a long list.

The main event at this moment is sold out with 140 players. We're looking for possibilities to create more space. Anyone willing to be put on the waiting list please proceed with instructions on the website http://www.aucc.club/2023-aurora-spr...event-details/

chess-results list was split into main, and separate rapid events:

The tournament is over. We had many surprising results. Congrats to Max Rusonik for a clear win in the Master section with 4.5/5 ahead of a lot of IMs and winning against three on the away.
Results could be seen at http://chess-results.com/tnr746562.a...1&rd=5&fed=CAN of all sections.
Photos and games of Masters within a week.

                              Hi Hugh,
Nnot yet. Will start working now, and maybe tomorrow. Slightly less than 50 games should be.

Master section games are with results at http://chess-results.com/tnr746562.aspx?lan=1

                                Look for the text:
The link in "Games" will lead to the rounds, and then possibility to choose the game to view online.

This particular game seems had the longest theoretical series of moves.
