      Great turnout, in the end we had 64 players registered! Congratulations to Anthony Atanasov for winning all five games to seal 1st in the round robin section. Also congratulations to Tanishq Patil and Andrew Wang for scoring 4.5 in the swiss section to earn top spot!

      Thanks to all who for coming out. We'll be running another rapid event on Saturday June 17th, and next month we are joining the Hungarian Canadian Club to run the Geza Fuster Memorial tournament. Details on that tournament can be found in the link below, we'll post on here as well sometime this week.

        64 players! Great turnout!! and more than 50 of them under 1600 - bodes well for the future! Congratulations to Anthony Atanasov who was all warmed up due to the just finished Canadian Closed but still its never easy to finish with a perfect score - 5-0! WoW!

          I urge all of you who havent played at the Hungarian Club to give it a try. Nice atmosphere and the food is excellent (thats the next tournament - Geza Fuster memorial May 20)
