Please enquire with the organizers yourself, but I suspect this event is in the CMA (Chess N' Math) universe.
CMA uses the term Chess Challenge for their provincial championships. CMA has their own rating system.

OCC is organized by CMA, they are using different rating system as CFC. CMA tournaments are for grade K-12 students only. It is good for young players. They do have CFC over 2000 high school students to play at OCC, once you are the champion of your grade, you will represent Ontario to play national wide chess challenge with the champions from other province. Since their players are young students, the tournament are shorter, not like the CFC rated 5 or 6 rounds regular tournaments, take 70min+15sec, 90min+30sec per player per round or even longer, which is 3-4 hours per round. OCC finished in one day with 5 rounds. I will say for young players, CMA tournament and OCC is a good start.
