  • CFC crosstable - what does "zzz" in front of a name mean?

In the crosstable of the Ottawa RA March Open (top section), player 33 is labelled "zzzChacon, zzzJose". Do the z's mean something in particular? His membership expires in 2024, so that isn't the problem.

Good question Hugh. Thanks for alerting me to this error.

With our new online JustGo membership system, some members are struggling to use it properly. A common error is that existing members, instead of accessing their existing account, create a new CFC ID for themselves. When we discover this error, we merge the accounts, keeping one and the "deleting the other". The deleted number is identified with the zzz prefix on both first and last name. So in this case, the wrong CFC number was entered for Jose Charon.

My mistake. Halldor alerted me to the two numbers, but then I dropped the ball.

We'll get that correction done for next week's update.
