    Chess-Mates Summer Camp Youth Rapid Tournament 1 and 2

    Date: Friday, July 14, 2023, and Wednesday, August 2, 2023

    Place: 3300 Ridgeway Dr #11, Mississauga, Ontario

    Rounds: 5 Rounds: starting at 12:30 p.m., 13:10 p.m., 13:50 p.m., 14:30 p.m., 15:10 p.m. or ASAP.

    Sections: One section

    Time Control: Games are 15-minute plus 10 seconds increments.

    Entry Fee: $30 for 1 tournament. If you register for both tournaments, the entry fee is $50 for participation in both tournaments.

    Prizes: Trophies or Medals will be given to the top 3 winners. Extra Trophy for the top student of ChessMates Summer camp.

    Registration:

    Pre-registration is required. Please include your name, CFC ID, section, email, and phone number.

    Please submit payment to shawnliu72@gmail.com by e-transfer before July 13, 2023, for the first tournament or August 1, 2023, for the second tournament.


    The tournament will be rated by CFC for Active rating.

    Clocks and sets will be supplied. Free Parking onsite.


    CFC ID is required!

    Hi there, I am pretty sure you meant August the 2nd as August the 3rd is the Thursday and it says Aug 2 on the CFC website. Can you just confirm this?

      We're excited to welcome juniors who are looking for more opportunities to play rapid tournaments during their summer break.
