Rd 6 Poor Hans Niemann had trouble developing his pieces and then got them jarringly discombobulated and collapsed horribly.

Rd 7 Game of the round Tabatabaei - Vitugov - both players throw the kitchen sink of tactics on to the board. Wild pawn and piece tactics. I thought White was going to checkmate but not quite. Well worth looking. Kudos to both players for the entertainment. This fan hugely applauds!

Rd 7 Huge congratulaions to IM Royal for playing a whale of a game against GM Gukesh. As a result Mickey Adams stays in clear first. (so slim is the margin)

Last round all but one game drawn. Gukesh maybe trying to hard to win lost to Hans Niemann. Although the two shots he overlooked were 21.Ra4 with double power on the rank, not easy to see in advance, and the game ending Ne6 which force Nxe6 Rxe6 and after rook moves Rhxf6+ winning at least a second pawn.
