  • Canadians in Dallas

Shawn Rodrigue-Lemieux finished with 6.5/9 (no losses) - in a six-way tie for 2nd (including with one player who seems to have had a 1/2 point bye in the last round). First place with 7/9 was Gleb Dudin - a 20-year old Hungarian GM (who appears to have changed federations from Russia recently). He goes to the same school as Shawn, and they drew in the 2023 World Junior. Shawn won about $1200, based on the projected prizes.

Maili-Jade Ouellet finished with 5/9 - increasing her US rating to 2316. I think she was top woman, but no prize was announced for that.

Leo Fanyue Lin (SK) had 5/9.

Johnathan Han (ON) and Ryan Yang (BC) had 4.5/9.
