        • Rd 12 Nakamura vs Firoujza A barn burner of a game. Tremendously exciting! At the end Nakamura's bishop and knight won out over the rook but only after valiant defence and a long battle back and forth. Nakamura has chosen the best time to be red hot! Three wins in a row!!! - and only two rounds left.

          • Love Gukesh's play in the endgame. Using first his passed A - pawn and then his passed H pawn to win. This young man his admirable endgame skill, the best of all the current top young superstars. And his reward, finally a tie for first with two rounds left.

                        • We are in the home stretch. Nakmura knows where he sits (stands?) and will do his utmost to win the two games. Gukesh is also a real fighter. Nepo will fight too.

                          • Caruana's only hope is to win both games and then see where he stands.

                              • In the womens after 12 Tan leads Lei by half a point, nobody else practically can catch them. Gorayachkina, Koneru, Muzychuk and Vaishali can only play the role of spoilers.
