Date: Saturday July 20th
Place: Rockway Community Centre 1405 King St E, Kitchener, N2G 2N9
Enter the “Auditorium Room” on the basement floor. Parking free on-site.
5 Rounds: Doors open 9:30 am. Rounds starting at 10:00 a.m., 11:30
a.m., lunch, 1:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. or asap after round 4
Sections: Top six players will play a round robin. We may add another
round robin section if there are enough registrants. All other players will
play a Swiss tournament
Time Control: Game in 25 minutes plus 5 seconds delay per move

Entry Fee: $50 all players, $10 discount for juniors (under 17 years) and
seniors (65 years or older), 50% discount for FM/IM/GM
CFC Rated
Cash Prizes
Round Robin: Top two finishers.
Swiss Section: Top three finishers. Number of prizes awarded in the Swiss section could be expanded depending on number of registrants.
Miscellaneous:
– Chess supplies provided by the organizers.
– Free parking (limited) available on-site.
– Food places nearby.
