Job Description: As a Youth Chess Coach, you will be responsible for teaching chess to students of varying ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment, develop lesson plans, and organize practice sessions and tournaments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach chess principles, strategies, and tactics to youth players.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of students.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Provide individualized coaching to help students improve their skills.
- Organize and supervise practice sessions and tournaments.
- Promote good sportsmanship and a love for the game.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in chess education.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of chess, including strategies and tactics.
- Previous experience in coaching or teaching chess to youth players.
- Passionate about working with children and helping them grow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Patience and adaptability to work with students of different ages and skill levels.
- Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) rating of 2000 or higher, or equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized chess coaching program is a plus.
