MCC Open House (Jun 15, 22 & 29) - Saturday Night Casual Chess Fun (Chess & Math)
Dear Chess Enthusiasts and Families,
Thank you very much for your support throughout the 2023-2024 season! With your help, we achieved our goal of hosting twelve monthly CFC quick-rated Sunday afternoon tournaments, including CMA & CYCC double qualifiers in February, March, and April. Additionally, we organized seven CFC regular-rated tournaments with six rounds each, held during our Saturday Night Chess Fun free of charge for our club members.
To show our appreciation, we are hosting the Maverick Chess Club Open House on three Saturdays: June 15th, 22nd, and 29th, starting at 6:30 PM. All chess players, from ages 2 to 200, are welcome. Parents are encouraged to play with their children. You can challenge any players you meet here with rating 400 to 2100. Free refreshments are also provided. Welcome all the chess enthusiasts in the neighborhood!
We are also offering free Beast Academy Fun Math Level 4/5 group lessons starting from 6:45 PM for young players in grades 3 to 6 during the Open House Saturdays. Limited spots are available, so please register here to reserve your spot.
Our Saturday Night Chess Fun with CFC regular-rated tournaments will resume on July 6th for the 2024-2025 season. Maverick Chess Club members can join all the Saturday night chess fun tournaments for free for a whole year. Welcome to join us at Maverick Chess Club! We will also introduce 8 rounds CFC rated blitz on Saturday night chess fun serials in the season of 2024-2025, as well as an Open section for adults to join from July 2024. If you know any adults interested in playing chess, please invite them to join us.
