Both Just Wondering (Gary Ruben) and Wayne Komer were dedicated chesstalkers. As long as I was on the board Just Wondering was leading poster, so at least fifteen years. Shortly after Egidijus took over as leading poster after Gary passed, Wayne Komer took over the lead and kept it unitl he passed three years later. I was a thousand posts behind Wayne Komer when he passed away but have posted over 5,000 posts in the last three years. I guess you could say thats prolific posting. Gary Ruben passed in February 2015 and Wayne Komer in September 2021. Both are missed.

Did my posting of Jan 1, 2013 (11 years ago) include pre-2008 numbers?:

"There has been 602 posters on chesstalk with an average of 101 posts, skewed by the heavy users while 360, over half, have posted less than 10 times. Historically, there has been 113 posters with over 100 postings, last year 38 with 100, 20 with 50. This year slightly higher 43 with 100, 32 with 50. The top 7 maintain their placement as the biggest chesstalkers, while the next group passes the 1,000 postings mark. Maybe they should get a certificate.

Hans may have been a late starter, but, lately with links to chessbase, has risen to the top.

Since 2013, there has been an increase from 13 to 39 players with over 1,000 posts.

I believe that the Non-Chess Forum IS part of ChessTalk (Henry?).

Why should posts there not count as "Posts to ChessTalk".

We are not counting just "Posts to the Chess Fora (English/French)"!
