Kick off 2025 with an exciting Long Weekend Chess Tournament! We’re hosting a special New Year Celebration event on January 3rd, 4th, and 5th, and we’d love for you to be part of the action.
This marks the first-ever CFC & FIDE-rated tournament hosted by the Markham Chess Club! The event offers three competitive sections to suit players of all levels: U1300, U1900, and Open 1900+.

Players with a CFC rating within a 100-point delta can "play up" for an additional fee of $20 (e.g., CFC 1200+ may join the U1900 section, and CFC 1800+ may join the Open 1900+ section).
